An thinker since birth, Artemis is curious, thoughtful, and contemplative to a fault. Following the tradition her parents, both very learned Druids, she has set out for Aureus to visit the wilds around the city and gain knowledge of animal lore and to hone her animal handling skills. She is often seen as emotionless, but this a result of her often inwardly-focused attention. She seeks knowledge, not commitments, and so she is liable to do things she needs to do in her own interests, but not to make alliances.
Artemis’ best friend is her aptly named companion, Apollo, her twin in wolf form. He is practically an extension of her body, working in tandem with her mind and moods. The only thing that may bring Artemis herself to a visible rage is when there is a threat to Apollo.
Friends though she may seem to make, Artemis only sees herself as moving among other people, not necessarily with them, similar paths though they may travel.
